Looking for guidance from a professional that will help you take better pictures immediately without expensive, complicated equipment?
Smartphone Photography is a beginner’s guide to photography, containing insight into what people are drawn to in portraits and how to take pictures that flatter your face and figure.
I spent ten years telling stories with pictures--I’ve taken workshops with National Geographic photographers, studied photojournalism at a top university, been a college photography teacher, and owned a successful photography business. Now, I tell stories using multiple formats.
Each illustration was designed to give you a sense of freedom. There is no right or wrong way to color them. The best way is your way…the one you’re instinctively drawn to.
My wish for you is that you get lost within these pages…freed from the daily responsibilities of adult life…and connect with who you truly are—a limitless being of infinite capacity for reaching what you desire most.
Animals are some of our greatest teachers…let them guide you along your new journey.
"Vulnerability is the essence of romance. It's the art of being uncalculated, the willingness to look foolish, the courage to say, 'This is me, and I'm interested in you enough to show you my flaws with the hope that you may embrace me for all that I am but, more important, all that I am not.'" - Ashton Kutcher
“The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science.” - Albert Einstein
“One day, you will be old enough to start reading fairytales again.” - C.S. Lewis
“I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read in the train.” - Oscar Wilde
"Comedy is defiance. It's a snort of contempt in the face of fear and anxiety. And it's the laughter that allows hope to creep back on the inhale." - Will Durst
"It is always the art of the possible, never the impossible." - Ray Bradbury
I write to feel alive in mind, heart, body and soul...to learn and be challenged...to continually evolve.
May my words inspire you to think and feel...to take a journey...to discover something new.
